Biography

A skilled manager and an expert in customer development, Howard Woodie McDuffie has worked in shipping and transport for more than 35 years. Among his many professional attributes, Howard Woodie McDuffie maintains an impressive record in business development, and a deep understanding of governmental regulations and issues that affect the industry.

Mr. McDuffie went to work as a dispatcher for Miller Transporters Inc. at the company’s Brandon, Mississippi location while working toward his Bachelor of Science in Business at Mississippi College in Clinton, Mississippi. He progressed rapidly through the ranks and soon assumed management responsibilities, eventually becoming President of Miller Intermodal Logistics Services Inc. Under his leadership, the company became a force in the shipping and transport industry. His employment with the company, now known as MILS Third Party Logistics, spanned nearly 30 years.

Currently, Mr. McDuffie serves as Vice President of KAG Logistics (Kenan Advantage Group Inc.), a position he has held since 2006. His responsibilities encompass sales and marketing. He is credited for integral contributions to the development of ethanol transloading facilities in six different locations across the United States. Kenan Advantage Group Inc., headquartered in North Canton, Ohio, is the nation’s largest tank truck hauler and logistics provider.

Howard Woodie McDuffie is a member of Christ United Methodist Church. He supports a number of worthy causes, including Boy Scouts of America and Habitat for Humanity. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren.
